Cleveland, OH — July 27, 2006 — Noteworthy Medical Systems, Inc., producer of the most user-friendly electronic health records (EHR) system, announced today that Knoxville Pediatric Associates, of Knoxville, TN, has selected the NoteworthyEHR to streamline its office procedures and digitize the records of more than 40,000 patients.  Established in 1996, Knoxville Pediatric Associates (KPA) is a large, single specialty pediatric practice in Knoxville. Noteworthy Medical Systems, Inc., produces the market's only EHR with zero failures and 100% user adoption.  NoteworthyEHR will provide the practice's five locations with a cost-effective, customized system for maintaining and accessing patient information that supports and enhances the doctor-patient relationship while improving practice efficiencies, profitability and promoting patient safety.

"We hope to continue to provide the best possible care for our patients while increasing efficiency in all areas of the practice," said Patty Adham, KPA's administrator.  "NoteworthyEHR will allow us to improve on that goal and more."

KPA began its search for an EHR with the desire to increase efficiencies within and between offices, ease the demands of paperwork, as well as to improve profitability.  "We began looking at EHRs because as a practice we felt it important to step forward into this area of technology," said Adham, "but it didn't take long to realize all the other benefits - for us and our patients - that came with the technology."

The user-friendly NoteworthyEHR will enable KPA to efficiently duplicate the natural flow of patient visits through its "point and click" documentation process, which will allow their users to quickly and thoroughly capture all essential patient information at the point of care, all the while automating common clinical activities and reports.  "Noteworthy's name came to our attention through some of the operatives at our practice management system.  After looking more closely, we quickly became impressed with the ease of use and chart-like appearance that  Noteworthy provided," said Tim Thurston, M.D.  "It's important that our physicians are able to make the transition from paper to electronic easily."  Noteworthy is the market's only EHR provider with 100% paperless clients at all of its sites.

During implementation, the site's clinical needs, office culture and workflow will be assessed by the Noteworthy Professional Services Team in order to streamline the practice's processes.  "The implementation strategy and competence of staff sealed the deal for Noteworthy with us," said Thurston.  With quarterly updates, the practice will regularly receive the latest published protocols and disease management guidelines.

"Knoxville Pediatric Associates is dedicated to the highest quality of care for its patients," said Lawrence Dolin, president and CEO of Noteworthy.  "All of us at Noteworthy are proud and excited to help KPA become one of the large pediatric practices to experience the benefits of paperless, electronic medicine to both patients and physicians."
