Background

Knoxville Pediatric Associates (KPA) was originally formed in 1996 when two of the oldest, most well-established practices in Knoxville merged; a third practice was added in 1998. The three practices of KPA now comprise five locations and serve 40,000 patients, translating into nearly 150,000 visits per year. KPA employs almost 200 staff including 30 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners.

The Challenge

KPA merges three unique practices, with a conscious effort to maintain the integrity of each practice, its goals and philosophies, within the larger group. As KPA began its search for an EHR, they faced the typical challenges of wanting an easy-to-use system that would increase efficiencies within and between offices, as well as ease the demands of paperwork and improve profitability. Our Solution

The Results
